SCUBA...LEARN TO SCUBA DIVE IN 4 HOURS

ST. THOMAS T. Holcomb - 6/4/2003
It was fantastic. They picked us up as we got off the ship. The instructor(his name was Zim) was great. After a short bit of instruction we were diving on a reef and a ship wreck. It was a memory that will last a life time. I will be recommending it to any of my clients that go to St.Thomas.

ST. THOMAS K. Ptacin - 5/26/2003
Our Shore trip on ST Thomas with "ZIM" and co. was the best thing we did on our whole cruise! My Daughter and I were the only two people on the dive so we had undivided attention and the 2 dives we did were fantastic - great water, fish, etc. The other dive we did, through the ship on Barbados, could not compare. Our compliments to the dive shop staff and your company for finding them. I certainly book again if I ever had another opportunity to do so.
ST. THOMAS M. Grizzard - 4/9/2003
First, rather than simply answer your questions, I will provide a short narrative on our experience with the excursion we booked through ShoreTrips on our recent Disney Cruise when it stopped in St. Thomas. First, I thought registering for the trip was extremely easy. Had it not been so easy, I would not have used you guys. Second, printing the voucherand simply handing it to the trip rep was also very easy and I liked this. Now for the actual trip. We stepped off the cruise ship in St. Thomas and there waas a line of about 10 people holding up small clip-board sized posters. As I got close to them, one poster said our name on it. I walked up to the lady and told her who I was. She was very friendly and asked to see my voucher. She then welcomed us to the island and asked us to follow her to her car, which was a short walk away. We got to her car and began our 15 minute drive to the other side of the island. She acted as a tour guide and described various things we drove past and gave us some history of the island. We then started to talk about scuba diving. I shared with her that I was already a certified scuba diver. She asked about my son. I told her that he had completed his classroom work, his pool work and hisd first two open water dives. All he needed was his third and fourth dives and that is why we were doing the intro to scuba class rather than a "normal" scuba dive. She then said if we could contact his instructor that their diving instructore was a qualified universal referral instructor and my son could do his dives that day and get certified. When we got to their dive shop, they called back to the United States and we contacted my son's instructor and got the paper work handled. The instructor then had my son get in their pool and they reviewed some skills in the pool. The instructor changed the two dives a little to allow my son to demonstrate the skills needed. To make a long story short, my son did his third and fourth open water dives that allowed him to get certified. They charged us an extra fee for doing the certification. I found the dive shop and boat to be safe and clean. While there, we interacted with three people and found all of them to be very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone interested in doing some diving while in St. Thomas.
ST. THOMAS Stephen - 3/27/2003
This excursion was fantastic! Bill and his staff could not have been any nicer. I will continue to use you as I cruise quite often and will recommend you to anyone I speak with. Thanks for the follow-up and for running a first class operation.
ST. THOMAS C. Brinkmeyer of Serenity Travel - 6/10/2002
Three of my clients took the "Learn to Scuba Dive" trip and one other took the "2-tank Dive" and they all had a great time and said that their instructor was the best they had ever had. They were very pleased. I think that the prices were all very fair and I was very pleased with everything. The entire process was very smooth from the booking, to the confirmation, to printing the vouchers. In fact, I love the fact that you send the vouchers by email! I will not hesitate to use ShoreTrips again in the future.

SCUBA...TWO TANK SCUBA DIVE FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS

ST. THOMAS Valerie of Caldwell Travel & Tours - 3/20/2003
They were very pleased and were in a group total of 5 people, they loved that...Said that the ship shore excursion looked like a herd of cattle. Thank you!
ST. THOMAS M. Lea - 1/7/2003
We had an AWESOME time on our 2 Tank Dive. I was happy with the price of the services provided, good value and very competitive for the area. No issues with finding the guide and they were very friendly and made it an enjoyable trip. I myself would have enjoyed doing a deeper dive just to "do it", but otherwise it was nice to dive in warm water and see the coral reef's and tropical fish. Hope to return in the future and dive again with your company. Thanks for the great time!
POWER BOATING...ALL DAY PRIVATE LUXURY CRUISE AND SNORKEL TO THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
ST. THOMAS D. Kalisz - 3/26/2003

I've been meaning to write a letter..We had the BEST TIME and it was the highlight of our trip! Perfect weather, calm water, crystal clear, meeting our captain was no problem at all. His first mate, Eve, was great with the kids, really kept them entertained. We never made it to the Baths, but did go to the Norman Island Caves, which the kids enjoyed. We went to St. John and also hit the famous Willie T's Floating Bar. Captain Ed was very, very informative, and knew everything about everything. I have a great picture of all of us on the boat. Give me your address and I can send a picture. I felt the price was right for 6 people and what everyone got to experience, especially when you look at how much they ask for other excursions. Anyway, great trip had by all, and our cruise was awesome also. Thanks!

POWER RAFTING TO THE VIRGIN ISLANDS
ST. THOMAS - 1/29/2003

I have to say that our "Power Rafting" trip was one of the highlights of our vacation. We had a wonderful time with "Captain Glen." He did a great job in making our trip enjoyable and informative, and seemed to have a wide base of knowledge of St. Thomas and the surrounding islands. Our son (only 3 years old) liked him so much that he remained on the boat with Captain Glen, watching fish and boats go by, while my husband and I took a quick snorkel dip. Since we were the only family on the boat, we felt that we couldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere else; we still feel it would have been a good price if there were other travelers on board with us. To sum up, we had a great time and will definitely take the trip again the next time we are down your way.

ST. THOMAS B. Sherbanenko - 8/13/2002

We had a wonderful time. The ShoreTrips worked out better than expected. The guides were exactly where and when they said they would be. The Power Raft trip was great, we were the only 5 on the boat, so it was like a "private tour". The guide was very knowledgeable and took us to the best snorkeling spots. We found a sea turtle and watched it feed below us, the highlight of the trip. My family really appreciated our tour when we pulled into a bay and saw the ship's excursion, the people were packed in side by side with life preservers on (that alone had my kids counting their blessings) and when Glen found out that they had just gotten there, we just turned around and went onto another spot. We were able to get on and off, lay down and relax, have a soda. My daughter didn't feel like snorkeling at one point, so she just tanned on the boat and visited with Glen and Greer. Even if there had been more people, it would have been fine, as your tour doesn't pack them in like the others and it was less expensive and a longer tour. The tour time coinsided perfectly with our ship's arrival and departure times in port. We got into a van as soon as we disembarked, arrived at the raft right on time, had plenty of time to snorkel and still had time for lunch and shopping in town before departing. I guess you can tell that we were more than satisfied! Thank you again for all your help in making our cruise complete!!

SAILING AND SNORKELING... THE DAY AWAY IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS

ST. THOMAS R. Mattes - 7/1/2003

The Sail and Snorkel Day in St. Thomas was incredible and definitely the highlight of our cruise! The captain and mate made us feel very at ease and took great care of us. The weather wasn't perfect in the morning, however we made the best of it and had a great time sailing in the rain! The rain subsided by the time we reached St. John and the snorkeling was supurb. We have snorkeled in many places and this was definately the best! The captain gave us ample time to snorkel, and then following a nice lunch, we made our way back to St. Thomas. We will definately recommend this trip to our friends and family and hope to make it back one day ourselves. Also, your company was wonderful. Prior to booking the excursion, I called to ask a few questions and Barry was very helpful and gave wonderful recommendations. Thanks for everything!

ST. THOMAS R. Saxe - 1/30/2003

We enjoyed our sail very much, had an absolutely wonderful time. Sharon, our captain, was great and her boat was beautiful. I would recommend this trip to anyone. We definately felt the trip was worth the money. Had no problems finding our wonderful captain. The whole day was perfect.

SAILING AND SNORKELING...FIRST RATE DAY SAIL

ST. THOMAS L. Koller - 3/20/2003

I had a wonderful time on my vacation. The First Rate Day Sail was exactly FIRST RATE!!! My sister-in-law has never been anywhere and we had a great time. The price was right!!! Capt. Mike was a lot of fun! Overall, EXCELLENT!!!

SAILING AND SNORKELING...HALF-DAY ON A CATAMARAN
ST. THOMAS K. Ruckert - 12/23/2003

The six in our party who went on this excursion absolutely loved it. They loved the snorkeling and thought they were very well taken care of on the boat. They all came back to the ship saying it was "the best."

ST. THOMAS K. Miller - 3/18/2003

Honestly, the trip that we booked through ShoreTrips was the best event that happened to us. We were on the "Carnival Triumph" and didn't want to get back on the boat. The 1/2 day sail was the perfect amount of time! The weather was perfect and they kept our drinks full! Snorkeling was a little disappointing, as there were not many fish, however we saw a giant sea turtle on our way to the snorkeling location .... very cool! The trip was absolutely worth the price! In fact, besides the time (which fit into our port schedule on the cruise) we decided to take this 1/2 day sail solely because of the price... and the free drinks! Our Captain was excellent! He definitely knew the waters, and made sure that we all had a great time. The two workers were very nice, and had so much to talk about. Being 21, they were about my age, but they were great with everyone of all ages.

SNUBA UNDERWATER ADVENTURE IN ST. THOMAS
ST. THOMAS S. Combs - 3/18/2004

Our SNUBA excursion was absolutely wonderful. Both my husband and I were a little nervous, but now we both want to become certified divers! SNUBA is the perfect excursion for those that aren't quite ready for SCUBA but are getting a little bored with the typical snorkeling trip. Oh, there were only 4 customers on our excursion, (my husband and I and another couple), so everyone in the cruise ship cattle call lines were envious!) By the way, many ships don't even offer this excursion!

ST. THOMAS S. Palmisano - 9/24/2003

The shoretrip we booked with you went very well. In fact, it was the highlight of our cruise. We did the SNUBA. Overall, it was fantastic. My family and I had a great time. It was defintely worth the price. We took a Taxi directly to the place where our excursion was and the guides were waiting for us. The guides were very friendly and patient with us because this was the 1st time we did SNUBA.
Highly recommend this one. We loved it.

ST. THOMAS H. McIntyre - 9/24/2003

I have to say that the ShoreTrips experiences were wonderful! My friend
and I had a fabulous time on both ShoreTrips excursions we took. The Snuba Underwater Adventure was our favorite trip and it was very much worth the price.
The weather was beautiful, albeit hot, but still very perfect for a day for
swimming. We found our guides with ease. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly, and I felt safe during the entire snuba adventure. I will definitely recommend this trip for any beginners of the underwater trips. The entire ShoreTrips process, payments, vouchers, and all was worth it. The ease of the
ShoreTrips planning guides and bookings will persuade me to use you again
for future trips and recommend you to anyone interested. Thank you to the
ShoreTrips staff, you, and your extended staff for giving my friend and I a
wonderful time at our ports of call!

ST. THOMAS S. Kinnaman - 1/31/2003

This was my husband's favorite ShoreTrip. The gentleman who taught us was extrememly professional and personable; he almost felt like family. The trip was well worth the price. We will use and recommend ShoreTrips in the future!

THE 17 MINUTE ISLANDS TOUR BY HELICOPTER
ST. THOMAS D. Mckenna - 4/2/2002

Our vacation was wonderful and the helicopter trip was one of our highlights. It was a wonderful trip and the pilot was very knowledgeable. It was easy enough to find and well worth the money we paid.

GOLF THE FAMOUS MAHOGANY RUN
ST. THOMAS S. Sisselsky of Longwood Travel Inc. - 3/20/2003

My client said the course was breathtaking! And he missed a hole in 1 on the first hole by 20 ft!!! He took a cab to the course and they were waiting for him. He had called over in the AM to see if he could bring his 8yr. old daughter along to ride in the cart. They were most accomodating. Thank you for all of your assistance. I will be recommending your tours to other clients in the future.

ST. THOMAS B. Turtle - 1/11/2003

Mahogany Run is a spectacular golf course. We really enjoyed our day. Your service was excellent; my emails were responded to promptly and Barry helped out in booking an additional trip as I contacted him from the ship. I will recommend your company. Keep up the good work!

HISTORIC HIGHLIGHTS OF CHARLOTTE AMALIE ON FOOT
ST. THOMAS A. Carder - 3/17/2003

We had a GREAT time! We had a private tour by Doug, who was great and was a volunteer, and he wouldn't even take our tip! He offered to let us join a group from the cruise ship or take a private tour. This trip was very informative, and knowing that the money was going to restore buildings in town, we did not mind the price. I think ShoreTrips is a great service and look forward to using you again soon!
