Discover life in the desert as
your naturalist guide leads you on an ATV safari.
This guided tour will take
you into the desert and 2,000 feet up into the mountains, through
pristine canyons and sand arroyos. You will see the natural springs
surrounded by unique flora and fauna.
It is quite an interesting tour and extremely well-run. The trails
will safely take you over a variety of land configurations in a small
group format. The cactus desert is exquisite and I can testify to the
knowledge of the guides.
Particularly interesting is how the look of the area changes during
different seasons. You will see these "arroyos" regardless of the time
of year, but these deep gullies will be either dry gultches or cut
with intermittent streams. It will just depend on whether or not your
visit occurs near the rainy season. It is fascinating to see how
different locations handle natural events.
As we drove our machines through this fascinating trail, I spotted a
jack rabbit sprinting by. During a short stop, I noticed some of the
staff lingering around a straggly tree and, when I approached them,
they handed me a small fruit that they consider a delicacy,
particularly due to its short season. Unfortunately, I missed the name
but found it delicious. |

CUSTOMER REVIEW ATV...GUIDED
COUNTRYSIDE RIDE IN CABO SAN LUCAS |
|
CABO
SAN LUCAS D. Davis |
|
We
had a "BLAST", enjoyed every moment of
it. The cruise was great and we were able to
meet some really nice people. To answer your
questions about the "Wilderness Ride",
we would have invited anyone to go. It was one
of the highlights of our trip. It was well worth
every penny and the people are so friendly. Our
guide (Patricia) was very knowledgeable about
the area and took us to a place we never dreamt
we'd ever get to see. Not once did my wife tell
me to slow down and at no time did we ever feel
rushed. As for meeting us, as we walked off the
tender, Antonio was there with a sign waiting
for us. They provided all the necessary gear and
gave us a brief introduction to the ATV's and we
were soon on our way! Without question, this had
to be the best tour we have ever booked. If you
are asking for a rating of their service...we
give them an A+. We didn't feel like a customer
but a friend going off for a day of fun! As for
you folks, we couldn't have asked for better
service and we hope to use you in the future.
Thank you! |

The finest catamaran in Cabo San
Lucas takes you to Lands End and beyond.
Swim in the sensual sea.
Snorkel off this luxury 37' catamaran with a first-class look and a
first-class crew. You will be just delighted as you board and my bet
is that the first thing you will do is take a picture of this boat to
remember it always.
Even more important is the fact that the captain and the crew is known
throughout the area for the deluxe treatment of the passengers.
Once you head out to sea and see the famous "Arch" along with other
well-known natural markers, you will anchor in the first of several
lovely locations for a snorkel. If this is your first adventure in the
world of snorkeling, never fear, as there are instructors on board
always to lead you in a comfortable path on the water's clear surface.

This adventure takes you to the
birthplace of the gray whale - where you can pet the babies!
After their long journey
from Alaska, the gray whales arrive to the shallow and warm waters of
Guerrero Negro, San Ignacio and Magdalena Bays in the Baja California
Peninsula Mx.
When you visit these special sanctuaries between January and March,
you can see the whales mating, giving birth, nursing and playing with
their young. You might see a newborn learning how to use his blowhole
for the first time.
This day begins with a flight in a Cessna Grand Caravan which holds 13
passengers. The flight is 1 1/2 hours in length and interesting
flight-seeing as you pass over the peninsula coastline. As you
approach Magdalena Bay, you will see the whales and, realizing how
much closer you are going to get to these mammals will certainly speed
up your heartrate.
You tour guide is bi-lingual and will be able to pass along lots of
information about the natural history of the area, as well as the life
cycle of these whales.
Upon landing, you will board a boat and head out to "whale country".
Because whales are wild animals, there are no guarantees as to how
much interaction you will experience, but you may get the opportunity
to pet, to touch, to make contact with these babies. You will spend
about 3 hours on the water, and the entire time you will be
entertained in a way that few people ever dream of.
Oh my! I heard about this somewhere and, as we walked to our next
meeting, we stumbled on this little office. We were so excited and
became more so as we heard the details of this adventure and looked at
the photographs. We might say "once in a lifetime" now and then - but
this tour is like no other!
A fabulous lunch follows, with lobster dip and chips, fish and lobster
entrees, and all the accompaniments to give it a Mexican flavor.
Snacks of cookies, chips, and more will be made available at different
times of the day. |

Wonderful open-style catamarans
let you take in both the fresh air and tropical waters.
As you board these stable
catamarans, the "boys" will greet you. It is not only the natural
surroundings that give this tour a great reputation but a crew that is
aiming to make your day memorable. Something else that will contribute
to a pleasant day is the fact that Cabo delivers sunny and mild
weather nearly all year round. So once you have found your spot and
settled in, you can enjoy setting sail as you pass large clusters of
granite forms carved by wind and sea which sets Cabo apart from other
coastlines.
If you are fortunate enough to be traveling between the months of
January and April, you might spot some whales as you head out towards
Santa Maria Bay, a popular place to find soft corals. The waters are
abundant with sealife.
Snorkel gear is included and instruction is available for newcomers to
this sport. A light lunch ceviche, tuna salad, guacamole, chips and
Mexican salsa is served on the return voyage. A bevy of liquid
refreshments, bottled water, sodas, beer and open bar, are available
as well. |

This captain will guide you to
the big fighters. They're out there...waiting to test your skills.
Your guide's
20 years of fishing experience in the waters of Cabo make him more
than qualified to serve as Captain. With 15 years at the helm, he has
earned a reputation for being one of the most knowledgeable, honest,
hard working men in the industry. Let them live up to their reputation
for you! The crew's English is excellent.
This is a full day charter with emphasis on catching Marlin and lots
of Dorado and Yellowfin. Although we state that the boat leaves at
6:30am... don't panic if you are a few minutes late. Then again, if
you are early, you will be casting your lines with the early birds!
The boat is a 29 footer - a day cruiser with two fighting chairs and
lots of room to stretch out.
Your rate includes boat, excellent English-speaking crew, fuel, all
fishing tackle, dispatch fees, ice & 10% taxes. It does not include
food, beverages, live bait, fish filleting or Mexican fishing
licenses. The cost of a Mexican fishing license is $10.00 per person
per day.
The cost for live bait is set by the Bait Catchers. Please note that
the supply & demand for live bait will create an increase in cost.
Payment for live bait is made directly to the Bait Catchers at time of
purchase. We recommend 8-12 baits per day, when fishing for billfish &
12-20 per day when fishing the inshore roosterfish, snapper, cabrilla,
etc.
When you book this trip, you will be given the option of adding lunch
and beer. Crew gratuities are not included and are customary in Mexico
for good service, typically at 10% to 15% of the charter rate. |

Divers often speak of La Larga,
Anegada, The Point .. here's your chance to experience great diving.
This is a
one tank boat dive, run by Cabo San Lucas' best dive shop.
Here are some of the favorite sites they may guide you to:
LA LARGA
60' to 120' Canyons. Rock outcrops giving way to steep vertical
granite walls and rocky ledges at 100'. Thick with gorgonians and sea
fans. Octopus, abundant tropicals, schools of barracuda and other
pelagics. Largest of the two famous sandfalls begins here at 100'.
ANEGADA
On the edge of the Submarine Canyon that forms San Lucas Bay.
Beautiful wall dive to small sandfall at around 90'. Large
congregations of big and small tropicals. Slopes covered with
gorgonians and graceful sea fans. Not unusual to spot rays and big
fish swimming out of nearby deeper water. The Bay of San Lucas is a
National Marine Sanctuary so we take only pictures and leave only
bubbles.
THE POINT
At Land's End where the Pacific Ocean joins the Sea of Cortez. Sea
lions, turtles, huge sea bass sometimes. Marauding schools of gamefish
brought in by large schools of baitfish such as sardines and
greenjacks. Pelagics such as whale sharks and mantas are spotted in
this area. Also morays, octopus, tropicals, etc., Average depth of
60'.
All of our dive tours include 3000 psi aluminum tanks, weights, boat,
bilingual certified divemaster, refreshments and a natural history
narration by one of our specially-trained naturalists.

Enjoy this exciting day diving
the famous waters of Cabo San Lucas.
This is a two tank boat
dive guided by a Japanese speaking dive master. This shop is totally
professional and don't misunderstand that you must speak Japanese to
dive here or to purchase this dive. But we wanted you to know that, if
Japanese is your natural language, you can feel comfortable knowing
that all instructions can be directed to you in your native tongue.
On the other hand, these pros can handle English and Spanish just as
well. The location is a breeze for all, including cruise ship
passengers.
Their custom 22' dive boat will take small groups of 8 maximum. They
rave about diving in the bay, where it is very safe and has no strong
currents. Your dive will visit 2 different dive sites at San Lucas Bay
Submarine Canyon. Then you'll take a surface break at Lover's Beach
and your tour will end with a visit to Famous Arch Rock at Land's End. |
