This is a
great story...The ship has this line of people waiting to
get off of the ship and meet their guides. We look and here
is a guy holding a sign with our name on it. Our party of 4
said "excuse us" as we walked past the lines & got to our
private car and driver. That's right, just 5 of us total.
Lewis was really outgoing & gave us several options
throughout the day. Our first stop was the Martha Brae
River. It is a bamboo raft (like a gondola). The driver
dropped us off at the beginning & another guide took us down
the river. Along the way were beautiful scenery, little
shops, and beverage stands. It was soooooo relaxing! At the
end, our driver met us & took us to Dunns River Falls. We
decided not to climb them so he took us to a spot for great
pictures. Then we went to a really nice restaurant
overlooking the ocean for the best Jerk Chicken.
From there we did a little shopping, BUT this was unique...
He took us to shops he knew had good deals (again, we
bypassed all of the ship's lines). The guys were given
beers, while us women shopped. Then Lewis dropped us off at
the ship & we went on board (again, you got it, we bypassed
all the ship's lines).
ShoreTrips is the only way to go for a fun, no hassle, no
